This is my first choice for squirrel-proofing if you have the yard space for a pole feeder because the four hooks allows one very effective squirrel baffle to protect four different ordinary feeders at once.
This means you can have a sunflower seed feeder, oriole jelly feeder, thistle feeder, and suet feeder without having to buy four different squirrel-proof feeders.
I also like that it screws in by an auger, not just using a pointed pole. This means it is very stable and won’t lean the first time it rains.

Roller Feeder
If you don’t have the yard space for a pole feeder, you’re probably going to need a squirrel-proof feeder. This is the one I recommend.
The inner chamber contains the seeds, and the outer shell rotates freely. When the squirrel jumps on it, the outer shell rotates, dumping him to the ground.
And it has a weight-calibration setting which means you can also keep out large nuisance birds such as grackles.

Dome Baffle
If you already have a hanging feeder and the only way squirrels are getting onto it is from the top, then a dome baffle should do the trick. I know some acrobatic squirrels can get around some of them, so give this one a try.
It is 20″ which should be big enough to thwart any squirrel.

Lampshade Baffle
If you already have a pole feeder that you want to protect, I’ve found lampshade baffles to be excellent. Cylinder baffles are equally good, but one good thing about this lampshade baffle is it wraps around, which means you can attach it to an existing pole without having to remove the feeder.
This particular one is also extra wide.
